The 2011 la Pinarello Cycling Maration (Gran Fondo Pinarello) features a new long course with the steep climb of the Salto della Capra. Pinarello gave us a course preview in these videos.

la Pinarello Pasta FeedThe Pinarello Gran Fondo, one of the truly great events of Italian cycling, has a great new route for 2011 which includes the very steep Salto della Capra. There is a 500 foreign rider limit in place this year, so we are encouraging everyone who would like to ride la Pinarello this year to register as soon as possible.

here are more than enough Gran Fondo nearby to satiate even the most ravenous rider. While we will 100% be doing la Pinarello, our attendance at other events is completely driven by customer request. Not sure what events are nearby? Here’s a list of everything we could find within reasonable driving distance.

The Dolomites
The Monte Grappa looks imposing not only because it abuts the large Padovana plain, but because it is a mean mountain. From it’s summit, you can easily see far into the Dolomites…
