Maratona dles Dolomites Camp

While the Pyrenees are beautiful, and the Alps big, the Dolomites are simply dramatic. Year after year, the Giro d’Italia returns to the Dolomites for the challenge its steep and twisting roads provide and for the scenery that leaves viewers everywhere wishing they were in Italy! For 31 years, the Maratona dles Dolomites (Maratona Dolomiti) has taken tens of thousands of riders over some of the most beautiful and iconic passes in the Dolomites, including the Pordoi, Sella, Giau, and Valparola. The allure is so great that more than 30,000 people apply but only 9,000 get in! Velo Veneto’s Maratona Dolomiti camp not only guarantees you entry into this prestigious and sold-out event, but also offers you expert local support across this challenging cycling terrain. You will experience the route itself, as well as some of our other favorite passes and roads in Alta Badia. This gives you a chance to fully experience this area, known as the heart of the Dolomites. When you’re done with the ride, you’ll be able to relax in our hotel’s Wellness Area – which includes a pool, hot tubs, saunas, and available massage and spa treatments. From arrival to departure, you’ll be looked after with the best support, enjoy the best food, and take in the best roads and scenery!
