|Maratona dles Dolomites

Just a reminder for those interested in the 2010 Maratona dles Dolomites, pre-registration closes on the 5th of November! A limited number of spots will open later in the year, at a higher price. If you’re interested, pay the 2Euro now to enter the drawing for a registration. If you get in, the fee is 75Euro. I’m sure the non-pre registration spots will be significantly more. You can register here.
Another reminder, since our package deals include Gran Fondo entry fees, if you are accepted into the 2010 Maratona dles Dolomites, we will credit your 75Euro entry fee towards your camp fee. Let’s go do some serious climbing!
2010 Giro d’Italia

Wow, the 2010 Giro d’Italia passes right through our backyard and finishes just down the road with a TT in Verona! Stage 14 will cover many of the roads we regularly ride, finishing a few minutes away in Asolo, and passing near Castelcucco on its way up and over the Monte Grappa. Whether you’re there in May, or come later in the summer, it’s going to be great fun riding on the same roads day-in and day-out. Velo Veneto is in the midst of a great upgrade for 2010, and this includes our website. As you can see from the black and white preview of our new logo, we’re going with a new design! This includes the website and our team clothing. Thanks to your great feedback from the survey, we’re upgrading services both here and in Italy to make your time with us smoother and easier. In direct response to your requests, we’re also developing a schedule around great events like Gran Fondos and UDACE races, and our season will finish with the grand finale at the Master’s Road World Championships in St. Johann!
We’ll be providing a lot more detail in the coming weeks, so please stay tuned through the RSS link to the right, or add your name to our email newsletter. The newsletter is the best way to stay up-to-date on all the exciting changes in store for 2010.
